Unlock Rogers HTC Desire 510

Unlock Rogers HTC Desire 510 – The Rogers HTC Desire 510 has been around since August and is a pretty solid device. The Desire 510 is another mid-range offering from HTC and the Desire line of devices. The Desire line is for the consumer that wants the hardware and software HTC offers without paying as much as the flagship One (M8, M7, etc) devices. In other words – they want a “high end” device without paying for it. And to that tune – the HTC Desire 510 does deliver. A nice HTC device with hardware support for LTE at a mid-level price point. If you want the HTC One M8 but don’t want to pay for it, consider the Desire 510.

The HTC Desire 510 is designed a lot like the Desire 610 or Desire 816 with it’s plastic build and smooth round edges and just like those before comes with your choice of a glossy or matte texture.

The almost high-end but not priced like specs of the Rogers HTC Desire 510 are as follows:

  • 4.7-inch display at 480 x 854 (FWVGA) resolution
  • Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor at 1.2GHz
  • 1GB  Ram
  • 8GB Storage (with SD card)
  • 5MP Camera
  • Android 4.4
  • Sense 6.0

When it comes to unlocking the Rogers HTC Desire 510 – like almost any other HTC device – the easiest way to go about it is via an IMEI unlock code. It’s a permanent unlock – so you don’t ever have to worry about the phone being locked again despite what you choose to do with it. It’s been a while – but our two favorite sources for unlocks are still giving HTC unlock codes away for free if you checkout using their TrialPay option.

Unlock HTC Desire 816

The HTC Desire 816 was launched mid June 2014. It has design cues from HTC’s flagship “HTC One” but it’s polycarbonate colorful body makes it more affordable for the mid segment of the market. You can think of it like what iPhone 5C is to the 5S: a more affordable option with a choice of colors, maintaining some of the more enticing features from premium phones: a big screen, 4G LTE, great cameras  and a quad core processor.
So is this more affordable phone a great value? Are its features more than enough for you? Read on to find out.
A huge 5.5 inch screen on the front surrounded by a plastic color body with rounded corners that comes in a variety of six pastel colors: white, black, red, blue and green. On the front, the screen almost reaches the borders, barely leaving space for the speaker and the microphone. On the back, a minimalistic design with no door for the battery so you can’t remove it. Two little holes on the corner for the camera and the LED flash and the HTC logo at the center. Plain, simple and nice looking. Very similar to it’s smaller brother, the HTC One Mini 2 except for the flat back.
The phone is 8mm thin, it weighs 165g, power button and volume rockers are to the left, over to the right you’ll find the nano sim and sd card door. It’s a single door for both cards
The HTC Desire 816’s 5.5” screen is 720p resolution, with a pixel density of 267ppi which is good but not awesome. It’s good enough for reading outside although maximum brightness is not as much as HTC flagship’s One M8 and not as sharp obviously, but hey, that’s what makes this a more affordable phone and considering it has good viewing angle and good black levels, and if you weren’t looking for a full HD 1080p screen, this screen is plenty.
It lacks any hardware buttons, which are handled all in software, but that leaves space for this phone greatest highlight: the front-facing Boomsound stereo speakers. They are loud with great bass response and rich sound in general, very good for watching videos or playing games.
Having the same processor as the One Mini 2 tells the fact that this is a mid range phone. A 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core CPU with 1.5GB RAM and an Adreno 305 GPU is enough for running smoothly all kinds of apps and 3D games, however it will not future-proof you when the next generation of more demanding apps show up.
Identical to the HTC One Mini 2, this phone has a 13 megapixel rear facing camera with an LED flash and a front facing 5 megapixel one. Both of them capable of recording 1080p HD video. They are both adequate for most snapshots but photo enthusiasts will find that the autofocus mechanism is rather slow in low light and pictures tend to be over exposured. The front facing camera is good enough for selfies but it could have better color representation.
A 2,600mAh capacity battery seems rather small for phones of that size but it will get you through a day with the help of HTC’s software: Power save mode and extreme power save mode. Charging the phone from empty to full capacity takes 3 to 4 hours.
As all HTC phones, the Desire 816 is no exception, and it comes with Sense UI layered on top of Android, in this case 4.4.2 Kitkat. It’s unknown, at the moment, if or when 4.4.3 will became available.
It also includes the car navigation software, a parent dashboard, Polaris Office 5 and HTC’s music app.
The available storage is only 8GB but there’s always the SD card slot.
The HTC Desire 816 is like having the HTC One Mini 2 in a larger body. Like saying “I’m not tiny, I can do big boy’s stuff” but with the same internals as the tiny who he’s saying he is not. It is an adequate phone for most people who can’t tell the difference between 720p and 1080p so it can be a great gift for someone who just needs a big phone with loud sound. But if you are an enthusiast and want to get maximum performance and more battery and a metallic body… save a couple more bucks and get the One M8.

The One Mini 2 offers a vibrant, 4.5-inch screen. The display is narrower than the HTC One M8 and the original HTC One Mini. This improvement allows easier one-handed typing. The Mini 2 offers a 720p LCD display with 326 pixels per inch.

There are also other features that include HDR, panorama, exposure control, and night mode. The volume rocker on the side of the device is used to control the zoom. This is also the shutter key which makes snapping photos easy.

The battery life on the Mini 2 has improved significantly over the original HTC One Mini. Although the Mini 2 has a better battery life, the battery is still an issue with the Mini 2. The One Mini 2 offers a 2110mAh battery which provides a better performance than other models.

Overall, the HTC One Mini 2 is a stylish device. The Mini 2 provides a high-quality device with an impressive camera and some premier features.

Unlock HTC One M8 Ace

Unlock HTC One M8 Ace – We’ve long seen rumors on the HTC One M8 Ace and it’s now made an official appearance on HTC official website in China as the HTC One “Vogue Edition”. The new HTC One M8 Ace (or Vogue Edition) will be released to the public on June 3rd (yesterday!).

In some of the previous leaks we’ve seen specs – and most of those are a match for what we actually got with the HTC One M8 Ace (Vogue Edition). There’s a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, 13MP/5MP main/front cameras and BoomSound speakers. The official images all seem to be missing an IR blaster – so if you were expecting that – you’re not going to find it on the HTC One M8 Ace. Minus the plastic shell – the HTC One M8 Ace reminds us a lot of the HTC One M7.Unlock HTC One M8 Ace

While we do now know some of the specs, the display size is still unknown. Past leaks have reported that it’s a display very similar to the HTC One M8 5 inch 1080p but time will tell if that’s what we get.

We have yet to see official pricing on the HTC One M8 Ace but the official images indicate the device will come in 4 colors – red, white, blue and black.

HTC Desire 610 Quick Unlock

HTC Desire 610 Quick Unlock

The HTC Desire 610 is one of the company’s newest handsets and comes with its own charm along with good power. With its colorful and bright, glossy plastic, this new phone is the next in line to the HTC 601 from last year. The 610 takes much of its design aesthetics from the premium HTC One. There are those who consider the Desire 610 as the plastic verson of the HTC One. Here is a look at the HTC Desire 610 and its features.

The HTC Desire 610 comes with a glossy plastic body similar to the iPhone 5C. There are also dual front-facing speakers. The phone has a solid feel to it with its dimensions standing at 143.1 x 70.5 x 9.6mm.

The HTC Desire 610 display is a strong 4.7 inches and has 540 x 960 resolutions, with an impressive 234 pixels per inch pixel density. This makes it a nice sized good looking screen good enough to play games and for good entertainment.

Other key features

The power comes from a Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor with 1.2 GHz and 1GB of RAM. This is about the level of power to be expected from a midrange phone. The battery is a 2040 mAh Li-Polymer Battery life and on regular usage it will run up to 13 hours. The HTC Desire 610’s operating system is the Android 4.4 KitKat

The Desire 610 comes fitted with an 8 megapixel main camera which is able to shoot videos in 720p at 30fps. Not bad for a mid-range phone. There is also a front facing camera with 1.3 megapixels.

Internal storage on the phone stands at just 8GB but this can be increased with a microSD card. The phone is able to use cards of up to 64GB.

As far as connectivity is concerned the Desire 610 comes with 4G LTE which will deliver fast download speeds. The phone also supports 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0, standard on most mid-range Smartphones.

The HTC Desire 610 is a good handset to have. With its big enough screen, its more than adequate resolution, reasonable size, good amount of RAM, and processor, it is feature packed. The camera is one with a good amount of megapixels so pictures are well taken. It also supports 4G. Users with also be impressed with the HTC Desire 610’s sharp screen and its potential for more storage.

HTC Desire 816 unlocked

HTC Desire 816 unlocked

The HTC Desire 816, for its mid-tier range, has been called the new flagship device and it comes filled with a lot of personality within its 5.5-inch frame. The new phone gets much of its design from the HTC One and the company is expecting it to do well in the market. Here is a preview of the new HTC Desire 816.

The HTC Desire 816 comes in some bolder colors which help in making it a truly striking phone. The color tones HTC were carefully selected and as such they are bright, with a touch of pastel so as to avoid becoming too bright. The phone is by far quite stylish in appearance especially considering that plastic phones can have a cheap look.

There is a mix of matt and glossy finishes on the Desire 816, which is not easy to pull off, yet HTC seems to have done it. In spite of its big size, which is likely to turn off some, it is a much more visually pleasing than the HTC One Max. Lighter and slimmer than the Max, the HTC Desire 816 weighs a mere 165g and is 7.99mm thick.

Hardware features are not skimped on with the Desire 816 and features BoomSound series speakers making it an excellent device for games and movies.

There is a nano SIM slot and a memory card slot that can be accessed by popping off the phone’s glossy back. The nano SIM is new to HTC devices, which normally use micro SIMs. A pull-off back allows the sides of the phone to be kept clean and clear.

Power and Other Specs

The phone offers a really good spec list that is well suited for a mid-range phone. The processor is the Snapdragon 400 quad-core variant which has been clocked at 1.6GHz.

There is 1.5GB of RAM along with mobile internet at 4G. Storage is 8GB which is on the low side, but with the phone’s microSD card slot, it won’t be much of a major issue.

The HTC Desire 816 has much to off and as such it’s difficult to say how users will respond to its flimsy-feeling body, it’s likely to a positive one. This is mainly because it comes in a good array of bright colors, its looks, high end speakers, and large screen. The Desire 816 is surely to be among the best on offer in the upcoming months.

HTC M8 Quick Unlock

HTC M8 Quick Unlock

HTC M8 is seen as the expected name of the follow up to the HTC One and consumers are surely looking forward to its launch in March. The new phone will boast a number of key features and tops among them are the processor, RAM, Operating system, and its WiFi capabilities. Here is a quick look at these features.

Processor and RAM

When the HTC One was released on the market it came fitted with a Snapdragon 600 processor that worked at 1.7GHz. Since then technology has moved forward some ways and as such the new device will come with an updated version of the processor. It has been speculated that the HTC M8 will have a Snapdragon 800 System on Chip processor. Benchmark tests have shown a clocking of 2.26 GHz for this quad core chip. RAM is expected to be 2 GB, the same as that on the HTC One and good enough to run Android.

For everyone who is in love with playing games on their Smartphone, the good news for you potentially, is that M8 is believed to be fitted with Qualcomm’s Adreno 330 GPU which is likely to greatly improve the handset’s graphical output.

Operating system

There should be no surprises here, by the time the M8 finally comes to market it should be packing the Android operating system under the hood. Expectations are that the latest version, the Android 4.4 KitKat will be what’s running the M8. The operating system will find itself wrapped in a thick layer of the HTC Sense software suite- Sense 6.0. It is hoped that the new version of Sense will now deviate far from Sense 5.5 that was enjoyed by many. Should HTC opt for an older Android system instead of KitKat for the HTC M8, it would be very surprising as its main competitors, including the Galaxy S5, will be running on KitKat. HTC would be well advised to follow suit.

Awesome Wi-Fi

The HTC One X+ was plagued with some serious Wi-Fi issues and the hope is that with the new M8 those issues would have been laid to rest. The M8’s Wi-Fi credentials are expected to be blazingly fast with the capability to switch between the 2.4 and 5GHz bands. It should also be able to support all the Wi-Fi standards including the latest 5G WiFi standard.

The expectations of the HTC M8 will hopefully be satisfied when it is released and chances are they will be met if not exceed.
